Coronavirus: One death, 151 new cases in JK

Srinagar, Sep 8: Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday witnessed one death and 151 fresh positive cases taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,251.
With one more death, the death toll in the UT has reached 4,411 and 151 fresh positive cases reported on Wednesday has pushed the tally of positive cases to 326,310.
Of the exact number of 326,310 cases, 203,096 are from Kashmir division and 123,214 from Jammu division.
Officials said that among 151 new cases, 130 belong to Kashmir division while as 21 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 203,096 including 199,852 recoveries and 2,245 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 123,214 including 120,796 recoveries and 2,166 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,251 including 999 from Kashmir division and 252 from Jammu division.
With 163 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 320,648 which is 98.26 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 75 from Srinagar, 31 from Baramulla, 07 from Budgam, 02 from Pulwama, 02 from Kupwara, 02 from Anantnag, 04 from Bandipora, 02 from Ganderbal, 05 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 21 from Jammu division include 04 from Jammu, 00 from Udhampur, 06 from Rajouri, 04 from Doda, 00 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 01 from Kishtwar, 02 from Poonch, 02 from Ramban and 02 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities on Wednesday said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and tally stands at 45.
One covid patient died at SMHS hospital.
As per officials figures, 72,838 positive cases including 837 deaths and 71,443 recoveries are from Srinagar, 24,020 including 282 deaths and 23,582 recoveries are from Baramulla, 23,294 including 22,956 recoveries and 207 deaths are from Budgam, 15,368 including 15,142 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,266 including 166 deaths and 14,076 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,461 including 16,235 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,658 cases including 9,526 and 101 deaths are from Bandipora, 10,152 including 10,054 recoveries and 78 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,438 including 11,300 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,601 including 5,538 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 53,057 including 51,856 recoveries and 1,142 deaths are from Jammu district, 11,385 including 11,243 recoveries and 137 deaths are from Udhampur, 11,119 including 10,558 recoveries and 235 deaths are from Rajouri, 7,634 including 7,424 recoveries and 130 deaths are from Doda, 9,286 including 9,135 recoveries and 151 deaths are from Kathua, 7,138 including 7,013 recoveries and 120 deaths are from Samba, 4,795 including 4,731 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Kishtwar, 6,328 including 6,219 recoveries and 97 deaths are from Poonch, 6,002 including 5,921 recoveries and 67 deaths are from Ramban and 6,470 including 6,396 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 3,344,050 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 8,250 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,251 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 2,863,816 persons have completed the surveillance period and 466,322 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 13,729,496 samples are available. Out of 13,729,496 the number of samples tested negative stands at 13,403,186 while as 326,310 have tested positive, among them 1,251 persons are active, 326,310 persons have recovered and 4,411 persons have died.
