Coronavirus: JK reports 152 new cases

Srinagar, Sep 18: Jammu and Kashmir Saturday witnessed 152 fresh positive cases taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,479 while no death was reported in last 24 hours.
With no more death, the death toll in the UT stands at 4,416 and 152 fresh positive cases reported on Saturday has pushed the tally of positive cases to 327,773.
Of the exact number of 327,773 cases, 204,316 are from Kashmir division and 123,457 from Jammu division.
Officials said that among 155 new cases, 137 belong to Kashmir division while as 15 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 204,316 including 200,828 recoveries and 2,247 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 123,457 including 121,050 recoveries and 2,169 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,479 including 1,241 from Kashmir division and 238 from Jammu division.
With 135 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 321,878 which is 98.20 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 67 from Srinagar, 23 from Baramulla, 10 from Budgam, 06 from Pulwama, 03 from Kupwara, 03 from Anantnag, 03 from Bandipora, 07 from Ganderbal, 15 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 15 from Jammu division include 03 from Jammu, 00 from Udhampur, 01 from Rajouri, 08 from Doda, 00 from Kathua, 01 from Samba, 02 from Kishtwar, 00 from Poonch, 00 from Ramban and 00 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities on Saturday said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and tally stands at 46.
As per officials figures, 73,543 positive cases including 838 deaths and 71,932 recoveries are from Srinagar, 24,153 including 282 deaths and 23,727 recoveries are from Baramulla, 23,428 including 23,086 recoveries and 207 deaths are from Budgam, 15,406 including 15,184 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,314 including 166 deaths and 14,115 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,487 including 16,267 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,696 cases including 9,565 and 101 deaths are from Bandipora, 10,215 including 10,090 recoveries and 79 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,471 including 11,321 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,603 including 5,541 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 53,105 including 51,911 recoveries and 1,143 deaths are from Jammu district, 11,390 including 11,248 recoveries and 137 deaths are from Udhampur, 11,142 including 10,884 recoveries and 236 deaths are from Rajouri, 7,710 including 7,512 recoveries and 131 deaths are from Doda, 9,288 including 9,136 recoveries and 151 deaths are from Kathua, 7,139 including 7,018 recoveries and 120 deaths are from Samba, 4,805 including 4,750 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Kishtwar, 6,340 including 6,233 recoveries and 97 deaths are from Poonch, 6,011 including 5,932 recoveries and 67 deaths are from Ramban and 6,527 including 6,425 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 3,455,478 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 7,080 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,479 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 2,978,573 persons have completed the surveillance period and 463,930 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 14,260,916 samples are available. Out of 14,260,916 the number of samples tested negative stands at 13,933,143 while as 327,773 have tested positive, among them 1,479 persons are active, 321,878 persons have recovered and 4,416 persons have died.
