Srinagar, Sep 28: The residents of Azad Mohalla sector 4 of Hamdaniya colony Bemina Wednesday protested against the administration for neglecting the dilapidated road condition in the area.
Locals of the colony said that they are suffering for years due to the dilapidated road of the respective colony.
“We have to take our kids on our shoulders to make sure they can reach schools and tuition centers,” they said.
“Due to the dilapidated conditions of the drainage we are at severe risk of health problems and it could spread to other adjoining colonies as well,” the locals said.
The locals appealed to the concerned authorities to take steps vis-à-vis macadamizing the road and repairing the drainage system so that they could heave a sigh of relief.
