Srinagar, Jan 15: In a strategic move to bolster the reach of central welfare initiatives in the valley, BJP State Executive Member and Incharge of District Office Construction Projects, Mohammad Amin Shah, held a high-level meeting Thursday with BJP J&K General Secretary Anwar Khan.
The meeting took place at the party’s S1 Church Lane office in Srinagar. The primary focus of the discussion was the effective implementation and public awareness of the various schemes launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the interaction, Anwar Khan laid special emphasis on the Viksit Bharat — Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Gramin), popularly known as the G RAM G scheme.
This landmark initiative, which has recently replaced older employment frameworks like MGNREGA, aims to provide: Guaranteed Employment: An increase from 100 to 125 days of wage employment per rural household. Skill Development: A focus on modernizing rural livelihoods and empowering youth and women. Transparency: The scheme utilizes a digitalized ecosystem with biometric authentication to ensure benefits reach the intended recipients directly.
Anwar Khan urged party cadres and officials to act as a bridge between the government and the public. He stressed that no citizen should be left behind, and that the benefits of the “Modi Guarantees” must reach the farthest corners of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Our mission is to ensure that every individual is aware of their rights and the opportunities provided by the PM Modi-led government. The G RAM G scheme is a revolutionary step toward rural prosperity, and it is our duty to take this message to every household,” stated Anwar Khan.
Mohammad Amin Shah briefed the General Secretary on the progress of various construction projects and organizational activities within the districts, reaffirming the party’s commitment to strengthening its infrastructure and public outreach.
