Srinagar, Mar 10: Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Consultative Committee (JKEJCC) and President of the Jammu and Kashmir Food and Supplies Employees Association, Ajaz Khan, Tuesday made a sincere appeal to the concerned authorities for the early finalisation of the seniority list of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) employees appointed through the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Recruitment Board (SSRB) in various departments of Jammu and Kashmir from the year 2021 onwards.
In a statement, Ajaz Khan said that these employees have been working with dedication and commitment in their respective departments for the past several years. He said that the finalisation of the seniority list is an important administrative step which will provide clarity regarding service matters and help employees plan their future career progression.
Ajaz Khan appealed the Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, the Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), the Commissioner Secretary, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department J&K, Saurabh Bhagat, and the Director, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department Kashmir to look into the matter and facilitate the early finalisation of the pending seniority lists of the MTS employees particularly in FCS&CA Department Kashmir.
He expressed hope that the concerned authorities will give sympathetic consideration to this genuine matter so that the employees receive clarity regarding their service records at the earliest.
Ajaz Khan further reiterated that the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Consultative Committee will continue to raise and pursue issues concerning government employees in a constructive manner for the welfare of employees and the smooth functioning of the administration.
