Pulwama, Oct 13: A leopard was captured by the wildlife department in the Kareva area of Malangpora on Wednesday.
A wildlife official said that since last three months they were receiving information about the presence of leopards in Malangpora, Koil, Jangalnad, Tokuna and its adjacent areas.
“Since three months searches have been going on in the area and we have installed a cage before two months in the area,” the official said.
He said that during night leopard had entered into the cage during night and on morning this female leopard was rescued.
