Put teachers at the centre

At a time when the life has become so easy and effortless due to the technology, the roads in Srinagar and other places have failed to provide any benefits to the people as with the surge in the number of vehicles, the government has failed to appropriate measures to accommodate the rush of huge number of vehicles on the roads on every day, thus adding to the miseries of the commuters. The frequent traffic congestion being witnessed at several parts of the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir is pushing the commuters to face tremendous hardships as they are being forced to stuck for hours together in the mess, thus simultaneously leaving them to lurch at large. One fails to understand when the roads despite the everlasting number of vehicles are congested, what is the need to block the U-turns and keeping the barricades near the U-turns. These blockades on the roads have only added to the already disturbing situation and thus leave the commuters to suffer further. In order to ensure smooth passage of the vehicular movement on the roads especially in the morning and evening hours, there is a need to unblock all the U-turns and remove the temporary barricades near the U-turns so that the flow of the vehicles can pass in an easy manner. Furthermore, the concerned departments should come up with some favourable decisions so that the huge rush of vehicles can be accommodated easily and the frequent gridlocks are put to an immediate end.
