Ganderbal, May 29: A 36-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping into river Sindh in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday.
An official said that soon after the lady jumped into the river Sindh locals tried to save her, but failed.
Her body was recovered later and brought to SDH Kangan for postmortem.
An official said that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been taken up.
