Shopian, Jun 4: A soldier died after slipping from a bridge in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Sources said that a soldier part of a patrolling party slipped from a bridge and fell down deep into a gorge.
The soldier was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Sources identified the deceased soldier as Arun Kumar of 62 Rashtriya Rifles. He is the resident of Pathankote Punjab.
