Srinagar, Jun 23: Director General, Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPARD), Saurabh Bhagat Wednesday took stock of all the arrangements to be made for upcoming 2-day regional conference here at SKICC, Srinagar.
The participants from all the concerned departments like GAD, Information, IT, NIC, Hospitality & Protocol, SKICC and others were present.
Representative from each concerned department was made aware about the roles and responsibilities they have to shoulder. They were asked to designate a nodal officer each for close coordination among themselves.
The departments were asked to make prior preparations for smooth conduct of the programme besides projecting all the requirements to be made available for the same.
It was given in the meeting that there would be multiple sessions on different themes presided over by subject experts and coordinated by the local officers. For each session the participating officers can ask the questions to the experts.
It was further given that most of the participants would join virtually from districts with around 150 participants present at the venue.
Each of the participant would be provided the material prepared by the subject experts besides presentations made by them on different aspects of good governance practices, the meeting was informed.
It was further said that the conference would help the local officers in better understanding all the reforms and good practices evolved elsewhere in the country and would thus help in creating best models of work for each of them to replicate in their concerned areas of governance.
