Srinagar, Jun 24: The government on Tuesday directed the concerned health officials to devise a mechanism for timely disposal of official files at all levels.
In order to bring transparency and accountability in the administration and in public services, directions have been passed by the Director of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) to chief medical officers (CMOs), medical superintendents (MS) and section officers (SO) and in charge of various sections in the direction office.
A circular issued by Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, Director of Health Services Kashmir, states the directions have been given to ensure good governance at every level, be it with public dealing or administrative work.
“In order to ensure good governance and to bring transparency and accountability in the administration as well as public service delivery, all the subordinate officers under the administrative control of this Directorate is enjoined upon to put in place effective mechanism for ensuring that no file remains unattended and is processed/disposed of immediately,” the circular reads.
“Chief Medical Officers (CMO), Medical Superintendents (MS) of all Districts and Section officers / in-charge of various sections in the Direction Office shall ensure timely disposal of files at all levels and make sure no pendency is created,” it said.
