Poonch, Jul 24: A mine blast left a soldier dead and another seriously injured in Krishna Ghati Sector along Line of Control in Mendhar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The soldier who has been identified as K.Vaidya died on the spot while another soldiers who sustained critical injuries has been admitted in the hospital for treatment.
Defense sources said that a mine went off during an operation in a forward area along Line of Control.
They said soldiers were conducting searches when the mine exploded leaving a soldier dead and another injured. (KNT)
