Kargil, Jul 27: Stating that the entire Ladakh region has great potential, the Bollywood celebrities who were on shooting schedule in Kargil in the ensuing month Tuesday said that filmmakers should prefer to shoot in the region to get best-desired locations.
Actor Amir Khan along with his crew had come to shoot for the movie Lal Singh Chadda in the Kargil district of the union territory of Ladakh till 26th July.
Talking to reporters on the last day of the shoot in Kargil, Khan thanked all those who were directly and indirectly associated with them during the schedule saying that it would have been impossible without the support of the local population, administration, police and the people of the particular area the movie was shot.
He said that the atmosphere was conducive due to the overall cooperation adding that Kargil is a very beautiful place and film crews must shoot projects here since the scenery is unique and unmatched.
To a question about the tourist attraction to Kargil like Pangong Lake in Leh after 3 idiots movie, Khan said that it cannot be said this early but we hope the film will do good and if people loved it then surely people would prefer to visit this place in times to come.
He maintained that people face difficulties to visit the Ladakh region during the winter season but there is no denial in saying that the places tough to reach are even more beautiful and it is not difficult during the summer season at all.
Khan maintained that they followed the Covid-19 protocol during the schedule properly and positive cases in Kargil are very low besides they have very strict rules of testing for the entire crew.
Kiran who runs the Amir Khan production on the occasion said that this place has a lot to offer to the film crews like huge mountains, snow, and meadows are available for the shoot besides other different places which are truly attractive.
