As the administration has sounded alert with regarding the Covid-19, stating that the next 100 days of crucial in Jammu and Kashmir, the report is not only an indication, but a warning call for the people of Jammu and Kashmir with regard to the following of COVID-19 related Standard Operating Procedures and other guidelines. These words must not be taken for granted as the previously, the government had also sounded alert, but non-adherence to the guidelines, proved dangerous on the ground as thousands of people got infected in the first and second Covid wave in the Union Territory. However, the vaccination has played pivotal role as per the experts, saying that those who got infected to the virus after inoculations, had less symptoms and recovered easily. Besides, the figures of daily fines being recovered from the norm violators on the ground in Kashmir are quit disturbing as it indicate that a large chunk of the society doesn’t adhere to the guidelines. Therefore, as the government has sounded alert yet again, there is a need to take all the precautionary measures so that the possible 3rd Covid wave is prevented well on time, otherwise, it is set to disturb and add to the miseries of the people again. The vaccination at this juncture is must and can help in reducing the number of cases, also the strict adherence to the SOPs can bring a fruitful results on the ground as well.
