DGP sanctions financial assistance, medical relief for 108 police personnel, SPOs

Srinagar, Sep 4: Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh Saturday sanctioned over rupees ten lakh in favour of 108 police personnel and SPOs vide two different orders of PHQ.
According to a statement, he has also sanctioned meritorious scholarship in favour of wards of SPOs who have secured above 80% marks in the annual examination of class 10th and 12th during the academic sessions 2020-21.
“Vide order number 2489 of 2021, medical relief has been sanctioned in favour of twenty six SPOs to defray the expenses in connection with self treatment or treatment of their dependents. The medial relief amount sanctioned ranges from rupees 5000 to rupees 50,000.”
“Vide order number 2628 of 2021 financial assistance of rupees five thousand each has been sanctioned in favour of 82 police personnel and SPOs who had tested positive for Covid-19 during the 2nd wave of the pandemic.”
The financial assistance and medical relief has been sanctioned out of SPOs Contributory Fund and Police Pariwar fund.
Meanwhile, DGP has sanctioned over rupees seventy five thousand in favour of meritorious wards of SPOs who have secured 80% and above marks in the annual examination of class 10th and 12th during the academic session of 2020-21 to boost their morale.
Vide order number 2631 rupees six thousand each for the three wards of class 10th and rupees seventy two hundred each for the six wards of class 12th has been sanctioned for securing 90% and above marks in the annual examination during the academic session of 2020-21.
Similarly, rupees six thousand each has been sanctioned in favour of three wards of class 12th who have secured 80% and above marks in the annual examination.
