Srinagar, Sep 11: Jammu and Kashmir Saturday witnessed 146 fresh positive cases taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,303, while no death was reported in the last 24 hours.
With no more deaths, the death toll in the UT stands at 4,412 and 46 fresh positive cases reported on Saturday have pushed the tally of positive cases to 326,799.
Of the exact number of 326,799 cases, 203,514 are from Kashmir division and 123,285 from Jammu division.
Officials said that among 146 new cases, 121 belong to Kashmir division while as 25 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 203,514 including 200,197 recoveries and 2,245 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 123,285 including 120,889 recoveries and 2,167 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,301 including 1,072 from Kashmir division and 229 from Jammu division. With 138 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 321,086 which is 98.26 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 72 from Srinagar, 15 from Baramulla, 09 from Budgam, 03 from Pulwama, 07 from Kupwara, 01 from Anantnag, 03 from Bandipora, 06 from Ganderbal, 05 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 25 from Jammu division include 04 from Jammu, 03 from Udhampur, 00 from Rajouri, 13 from Doda, 01 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 00 from Kishtwar, 01 from Poonch, 00 from Ramban and 03 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities on Saturday said that one fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and the tally reaches to 46.
As per officials figures, 73,070 positive cases including 837 deaths and 71,620 recoveries are from Srinagar, 24,069 including 282 deaths and 23,630 recoveries are from Baramulla, 23,344 including 23,004 recoveries and 207 deaths are from Budgam, 15,382 including 15,160 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,288 including 166 deaths and 14,088 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,471 including 16,244 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,671 cases including 9,543 and 101 deaths are from Bandipora, 10,169 including 10,067 recoveries and 78 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,448 including 11,302 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,602 including 5,539 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 53,064 including 51,873 recoveries and 1,142 deaths are from Jammu district, 11,388 including 11,245 recoveries and 137 deaths are from Udhampur, 11,124 including 10,862 recoveries and 236 deaths are from Rajouri, 7,661 including 7,475 recoveries and 130 deaths are from Doda, 9,287 including 9,135 recoveries and 151 deaths are from Kathua, 7,138 including 7,013 recoveries and 120 deaths are from Samba, 4,797 including 4,737 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Kishtwar, 6,334 including 6,224 recoveries and 97 deaths are from Poonch, 6,005 including 5,926 recoveries and 67 deaths are from Ramban and 6,487 including 6,399 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 3,3676,795 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 7,742 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,301 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 2,897,756 persons have completed the surveillance period and 465,584 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 13,887,059 samples are available. Out of 13,887,059 the number of samples tested negative stands at 13,560,260 while as 326,799 have tested positive, among them 1,301 persons are active, 321,086 persons have recovered and 4,412 persons have died.
