Ganderbal, Sep 11: An LP driver died in a road accident when his truck fell into a deep gorge near Chini Nallah Zojila pass on Srinagar-Leh highway on Saturday.
Police sources said that a truck (JK13D-4115) that was on way from Kargil to Srinagar skidded off the road and fell into 300-ft deep gorge near Chini at Zojila pass in Ganderbal district.
The driver of the LP truck died on spot.
The deceased were identified as Feroz Ahmad Khanday son of Ghulam Nabi Khanday of Qamarwari Srinagar. (KNT)
