Budgam, Sep 21: Directorate of Health Services Kashmir has attached in-charge Block Medical Officer (BMO) Nagam here in Central Kashmir’s Budgam with the office of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Pulwama till further orders.
Sources said that a six member committee had been constituted to probe the allegations against in-charge Block Medical Officer Nagam accused of sexually harassing women employees at work place.
“In the interest of administration, Dr Ashfaq Hassan in-charge Block Medical Officer Nagam Budgam is attached with the office of Chief Medical Officer Pulwama till further orders.”
Dr Malik Roohi Iqbal – Medical Officer, Block Qoimoh Kulgam has been directed to report Block Nagam where she will look after as in-charge BMO Nagam till further orders.
In order to enquire complaints lodged against BMO Nagam, the six member committee had been constituted by Chief Medical Officer Budgam. The committee comprised of members like Dr Adfar Yaseen, Dr Tehmeena, Dr Lahoot Hassan Khan, Dr Javaid Ahmed Ganie, Nusrat Nabi and Nisar Nabi. (KNT)
