Srinagar, Sep 25: The security forces on Saturday recovered a grenade and five rounds of AK-47 in Jugtiyal area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The joint operation was launched by Jammu and Kashmir Police, 41RR and 160 TA after the labours working near a Madarasa in Jugtiyal found some suspicious items near Jugtiyal road, official sources said.
A team of 41 RR along with Police & 160 TA reached the spot, they said.
“One Grenade & five rounds of AK 47 were recovered from the spot,” they added.
