Budgam, Oct 1: Police on Friday said that they have arrested two absconders who were wanted in a case and evading arrest for the past 12 years.
“Acting on a tip-off about the presence of the accused absconders at a specified location, a police team headed by I/C Police Post Soibugh arrested the absconders at Soibugh, Budgam, ” police in a statement said.
The accused have been identified as, Fayaz Ahmad Ganie Son of Ali Mohammad Ganie resident of Hajibagh Soibugh & Manzoor Ahmed Kumar son of Salaam Kumar resident of Sanoor Magam. “The accused were involved in many FIRs registered against them in various Police stations of the district and will be produced before the court of law,” the police said.
