J&K’s MSME sector sparks economic growth

The mishaps in Jammu and Kashmir especially in the Valley have not reduced even after the authorities claimed to have taken a series of steps to bring the graph down. However, the ground situation has not changed yet as more and more people especially the juvenile bike-riders are losing their lives in the mishaps. The juvenile bike-riders are seen zooming on the roads in the Valley. The underage bike-riders are not possessing licenses, they are seen riding two-wheelers at a full tilt. Oftentimes, it has resulted in horrendous accidents. Traffic remains at its peak throughout the day in Srinagar, the underage bike riders don’t even care about their lives and ride the bikes at full speed. It needs to be understood that the students do not need a personal vehicle. It would be best instead to provide them a cycle so that these mishaps can be prevented. Giving motorbikes to the juveniles has caused havoc in the society and has become a matter of grave concern. Although parents are responsible but the traffic police department has also to share its bit of responsibility in this matter. We as responsible citizens should ensure that the youth especially the underage should not be given motorbikes to ride while the authorities concerned should tighten its noose against these riders so that the graph of mishaps and carelessness by these youth will be reduced.
