Srinagar to host 5th National Smart Cities Conclave on Nov 26

Srinagar, Nov 17: Virtual 5th National Smart Cities Conclave program along with GovConnect, will be hosted in Srinagar on November 26, supported by Srinagar Municipal Corporation and Srinagar Smart City Limited.
In the event Chief Executive Officers, Commissioner’s, Nodal Officers and Project Management Consultants (PMC) of selected 100 smart cities will be participating.
“In a big development and achievement, Srinagar smart city will be hosting the 5th National Smart Cities Conclave this month. The program will witness participation from 100 selected smart cities, wherein officials of those cities will be participating in the program,” an SMC official said.
He said that the conclave is all about sharing ideas about building smart, resilient, safe and sustainable cities through technology and innovations.
“We will discuss certain topics, including smart, sustainable and resilient cities-towards quality of living, building smart, resilient, safe and sustainable cities of the future through technology and innovations,” he said.
“Srinagar Smart City will be hosting the 5th National Smart Cities Virtual Conclave on November 26 in partnership with GovConnect! Discussions and idea-sharing on building smart, resilient and sustainable cities will be done with participants from across the country”, SMC Commissioner and CEO Srinagar Smart City Limited Athar Amir Khan tweeted.
The official added that the conclave would all see participation from Smart Cities CEO’s, Commissioner, Nodal officers, Department of Road Transport and Highways of various states, the Department of Energy and Power of various states, Departments of Urban, Development of various states and PMC’s.
