Rising Cyber threats in J&K

The Jammu and Kashmir administration has finally woken up and has started retrieving the government land encroached by the people across the Union Territory. In the last couple of days, the government has retrieved over 200 kanals of land at different places in Jammu and Kashmir districts. The authorities have time to time warned of stern action against the encroachers here, but in the last several years, the encroachers have not been taken to task. However, the authorities have finally started a process to retrieve the government land from the encroachers. In one such instance, Jammu and Kashmir administration has retrieved over 183 acres of prime state land encroached by several people in Doda and Reasi districts of Jammu region. The encroached lands were retrieved in Kondhra, Mundhar, Mothi, Gadi, Bhella and Chiralla villages of Doda district and Arnas and Thuroo Tehsils in Reasi district. In Kashmir division also, the administration retrieved several acres of land in different districts. Therefore, the government should consider utilizing such a huge land for the benefits of the people. The land can also be used to augment the sports infrastructure as Jammu and Kashmir lacks sports grounds, which is adding to the miseries of the young and talented youth. There is a need to utilize the same land for the educational purpose as the new varsities and colleges are need of the hour while the Agricultural land could also be used for the agri purposes, which would help in boosting the sector further.
