Srinagar, Jan 4: Body of a person was recovered in Langate Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara and he has been identified to be of a mentally challenged person.
A police official said that the identification of the deceased person as one Ghulam Nabi Bhat of Wadipora Handwara was made at SDH Langate.
The person was mentally challenged, the official said.
Pertinent to mention here that body of the person was found lying in paddy fields by some locals earlier in the day, following which a police team reached the spot and took it into its possession for identification. (GNS)
