Kulgam, Jan 19: In view of steep rise in Covid-19 cases across the UT, an online setup/virtual room with adherence to CAB has been made functional at DC office Kulgam.
This step has been taken to avoid any inconvenience to the public who have grievances which need attention of administration for timely redressal.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat on the occasion listened to the issues and grievances of the public via online/virtual mode wherein ADC, ACR and other officers of the district remained connected to respond to the grievances related to their domain.
During the session, scores of people apprised the DC about their issues. Several issues and grievances were redressed on spot by the DC.
To listen and mitigate the issues of the public for timely redressal is our priority, said Dr Bial while addressing the public.
Meanwhile, the DC urged the public to adopt Covid Appropriate Behaviour and stick to COVID related SOPs and guidelines to prevent further spread of the virus.
