Streamlining traffic pivotal

The City roads are witnessing no ease of traffic as the flow of vehicular movement through the major roads has increased manifold in the last couple of years.
However, nobody has bothered to ensure that at least the roads are widened. The paperwork in this regard has been going on since long, but there has been no end to the miseries of commuters while passing through City roads as the ground work to decongest the City roads never commenced, thus leaving the people to lurch at large.
Moreover, amid chaotic situation being witnessed on City roads, the majority of the roads don’t witness the presence of traffic cops, who could ensure the smooth passage to the vehicular movement.
It has been observed that most of the times, the commuters come out of their vehicles to streamline the traffic, which frequently comes to halt due to congested roads.
One fails to understand the non-deployment of traffic cops in City areas where the presence of men in blue is pivotal given the congested roads.
The lack of parking besides the congested roads is adding to the miseries of the commuters as the people usually park their vehicles illegally on the roadsides. One cannot blame the commuters for illegal car parking, but at least the situation deserve to be tackled in a smooth way for which the presence of traffic policemen becomes mandatory.
The department should consider deploying the traffic policemen on regular basis in these areas so that the commuters could heave a sigh of relief.
