Kupwara, Mar 5: The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Imam Din Saturday convened a meeting of all concerned officers to review the progress of works under Rural Development Department (RDD).
Addressing the meeting, the DDC stressed upon all the concerned officers to speed up the pace of progress on all ongoing works and ensure completion of all targeted works within the stipulated time frame.
Earlier, it was informed in the meeting that 960 works were allotted under PRI/DDC/BDC grants in the current financial year out of which 904 works were taken up for execution.
It was also informed that an expenditure of Rs.901.85 lakh has been incurred against completion of 286 works till date.
JD Planning, Abdul Majeed; ACD Kupwara, Ex. Engineer REW, BDOs, AEEs and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
