Anantnag, Apr 26: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Tuesday foiled a weapon snatching bid by unknown persons at Reshi Bazar area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.
An official said that unknown people tried to snatch the rifle of a CRPF trooper by throwing chilly powder into his eyes who was posted at Reshi Bazar, performing duty at the gate of a Kashmiri Pandit.
However, they failed in weapon snatching and fled from the spot, official said, adding that area has been cordoned off. (KNO)
