Ramban, May 1: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Sunday visited the District Hospital to take stock of health facilities being provided to patients besides reviewing the implementation of Covid protocols there.
The DC was accompanied by the Medical Superintendent Dr. D V Singh and other concerned officers.
The Deputy Commissioner checked the duty roster of the doctors and other paramedical staff. He asked the Medical Superintendent to ensure that all medical facilities are extended to OPD & IPD patients in a hassle-free manner.
The DC advised people to wear masks and maintain physical distance to prevent spread of Covid-19 infection. He also directed the Doctors to restrict the number of attendants visiting the patients in the hospital as a precautionary measure.
He also directed the hospital administration to regulate parking of vehicles for which additional manpower has been provided.
While reviewing the implementation of PM-JAY-SEHAT scheme, the DC directed Hospital Administration to sensitize the patients and their attendants about the same and encourage them to avail the benefit of the flagship health insurance scheme.
The DC also urged the general public to visit nearest VLEs with their Aadhar and Ration Cards for SEHAT registration. He added that after registration they will get Golden Cards which will entitle them for cashless healthcare facilities across government and Private empanelled health institutions.
