DC Kulgam reviews status of developmental work projects

Kulgam, Jun 16: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Thursday chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review status of developmental work projects that are under execution of various executing agencies in the district.
During the meeting, the concerned officers informed the DC about the present status of all projects under execution.
The DC took a detailed review of all projects and directed the officers to ensure completion of all work projects within the stipulated time frame without compromising with the quality.
While briefing the chair about the status of various languishing work projects that are under the execution of R&B, the Ex. Engineer informed the chair that 1×12 Mtr span bridge on Adipora Mishipora has been completed.
Briefing about the status of Nadimarg Gulabgarh road, he informed the chair that 35 percent work on the road is completed and 70 percent work on city retreat at Kutabal stands completed.
He also briefed the chair about the status of other projects which includes PWD complex, Aadigen Damhal Bridge, Bogund Kulpora and other roads, buildings and bridges.
It was given out that under Regular budget component there 12 ongoing works under execution of R&B.
While reviewing the status of work projects that are under the execution of JKPCC, AEE concerned informed the chair that 2 blocks of residential quarters at Liroo have been completed and walling of the area has been almost completed too.
It was also given out that among 11 languishing works of YSS 06 are completed.
During the meeting it was also shared that 85 percent work stands completed on community/ marriage hall Kulgam.
The DC instructed all the concerned officers to expedite the pace of work and mobilize men and machinery to complete all these work projects within set timeframe.
The meeting was attended by ADC, JD-Planning, ACR, Executive Engineers and other concerned officers.
