An interesting story of forgiveness

The government has provided a sigh of relief by announcing the cancellation of the attachment orders by the Head of Departments across Jammu and Kashmir. Although the exact figure of the attached doctors and paramedical staff is not available, it is anticipated that the huge number of doctors and paramedics were attached from time to time, which simultaneously affected the better health care facility across the Union Territory. There are people who blame favouritism and other related things behind the reasons that lead to the attachments of doctors and paramedics in different institutions of Jammu and Kashmir. However, the government after observing the burden on the doctors and also the sufferings of patients, decided to cancel all the attachments by HODs, which is set to bring respite in the hospitals across the Union Territory. The overburden on the doctors in the health care facilities was affecting the better treatment. The doctors as well as the paramedics are being forced to work overtime at the hospitals, which is bound to affect the health care. Therefore, the decision taken by the government is the need of the hour and the concerned authorities should ensure that there is no delay in implementing the order so that the people visiting the hospitals could heave a sigh of relief. Such decisions are imperative at a time when Jammu and Kashmir is already facing dearth of doctors and the paramedical staff. There is a need to come up with more such measures so that both—doctors as well as the general public will get benefits.
