Vehicle crushes pedestrians to death in Dooru

Anantnag, Aug 5: A pedestrian died after being hit by a Scorpio vehicle in Dooru area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday, officials said here.
An official said that the pedestrian identified as Mohammad Ramzan Shero son of Ghulam Mohammad of Kapran was injured when a Scorpio vehicle hit him near Main market Kapran Friday afternoon.
He said that he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he was declared dead on arrival.
The official said that a case vide FIR number 78/2022 under sections 279, 337 IPC has been registered at Dooru Police station in this regard.
