Srinagar, Aug 11: The Enforcement Wing of Lake Conservation & Management Authority (LCMA) Thursday undertook a demolition drive in the areas of Nowpora, Nishat, Kanitar/Saderbal and Botshah Mohalla Lal Bazar areas of Srinagar city.
During the drive, several illegal structures consisting of two 2nd storied houses tin walling, one compound walling, one 3rd storey and a single storey were demolished.
People in these areas have been warned not to resort to any illegal constructions and were asked to get proper building permission from the competent Authority.
In the said demolition drive the Police Contingent from PCR provided assistance and protection.
