Srinagar, Aug 15: Arshad Farooq, Lake City Times North Kashmir Bureau Chief Monday bagged an award for best journalist during Independence Day function at Baramulla.
The award was provided for his efforts to highlight the issues faced by the people of the district.
The award ceremony was held at the conclusion of the Independence Day function.
Safina Baigh, DDC Chairperson was the chief guest on the occassion.
DC Baramulla, Sehrish Asgar, DIG North Kashmir, SSP Rayees Ahmad Bhat and all district and Sectoral officers were present during the function.
The function was held at District Police Lines.
