Er Aijaz visits Balhama, reviews macadamisation work

Srinagar, Sep 9: Young BJP leader and DDC member for Khonmoh, Srinagar, Er Aijaz Hussain along with the R&B Officials today visited Balhama area of the city outskirts to take stock of the macadamisation work in the area.
Er Aijaz expressed his satisfaction over macadamisation work in the area and also thanked the R&B officials for completing the left-over patch of road that was yet to be macadamised. Speaking on the occasion, Er Aijaz said that the J&K administration is committed to provide better roads in Srinagar and his constituency Khonmoh will have quality roads in future. He said that R&B officials have conducted an extensive survey of roads of Balhama, Zafran Colony, Zewan, Zawaroora, and other adjoining areas and in future not just the macadamisation but widening of roads will also take place.
He also expressed his gratitude to the PHE department for laying new pipes and repairing the leakage in older ones on a fast track basis that paved the way for the mecadamisation. Er Aijaz also met locals of Balhama, who apprised him about day to day issues in their area. Er Aijaz said that at present his constituency has the better roads in Srinagar and that he is pursuing the macadamisation of interior areas of the constituency. He said that locals of his constituency are regularly demanding macadamisation of lanes and by-lanes and he assures them in the near future, their demands will be taken up with the R&B officials on priority and redressed as well.
The locals of Balhama thanked the young leader for reaching out to them on a regular basis and resolving their issues on priority basis.
