Srinagar, Nov 19: HDFC Bank opened a new branch in Zakura Srinagar Wednesday.
The branch was inaugurated by Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation Athar Aamir Khan along with Iftikar Ahmed Circle Head – Kashmir HDFC Bank. The bank is planning to add more branches.
Commenting on the bank’s growing distribution network in Kashmir Valley, Mr. Iftikar Ahmed said: “This new branch reaffirms HDFC Bank’s commitment to people. We plan to expand further across Jammu and Kashmir and make our quality banking products and services accessible in the remotest parts of the state.”
Iftikar Ahmed said that it is a pro-people bank and those employed are all locals. He said that HDFC bank is for people and it’s sole motive is to help the common people.
Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation Athar Aamir Khan requested the bank authorities to be more people-friendly and work in their interests.
Besides, Iftikar Ahmed Circle Head – Kashmir HDFC Bank, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation Athar Aamir Khan, Cluster Head South Kashmir Showkat Hussain, Branch Manager Arshid Ahmed, SHO Zakura and others were present on the occasion. (KNT)
