Jammu, Jan 24: Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Agriculture Production Department, Atal Dulloo Tuesday chaired a meeting to review the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Processing Enterprises (PM-FME) and One District One Product (ODOP) schemes in the union territory.
During the meeting, the ACS was presented with proposed projects, budget allotments, and the current status of their implementation. He also received an Action Taken Report and detailed information on targets set and achieved in the current financial year.
Additionally, a detailed breakdown of subsidies provided until January 2023 was presented.
The ACS also spoke with bankers and sought reasons for the present rate of approval for loan applications. He urged them to be cordial and welcoming while approving cases and instructed them to submit a detailed analysis of key reasons for loan rejection.
The District Nodal Officers and District Resource Persons were also directed to be forthcoming and facilitate the public in taking advantage of the scheme.
Atal Dulloo took strong note of the non-availability of DRPs in several districts and directed that they be deployed at the earliest. He also added that all DRPs be trained afresh and encouraged to work with greater enthusiasm.
He also sought a detailed progress report on establishment of Common Incubation Centres, CIC, in Achabal, Doabgarh and Narwal.
