Kulgam, Feb 8: The District Development council, Chairperson Kulgam Mohammad Afzal Parry visited Kund valley of District Kulgam to take stock of arrangements for the ongoing annual Urs of Sufi saint Hazrat Syed Noor Shah Saheb Wali Baghdadi (RA).
DDC member Kund Sheikh Gulzar Ahmad along with Tehsildar Devsar, Naib Tehsildar Kund, SHO Kund, AEE R&B Qazigund, and other officers from PDD, Revenue, PHE, R&B, FCSCA, Health, Municipality accompanied the DDC Chairperson during the visit.
The DDC Chairperson Kulgam stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure the availability of all the necessary arrangements so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.
The DDC chairperson directed the officers to ensure uninterrupted power supply, safe drinking water supply, proper sanitation measures, illumination and decoration of the shrine besides healthcare facilities and security arrangements at the Shrine.
