Srinagar, Feb 20: Srinagar Police on Monday said it have arrested 07 absconders in the last one month as they were involved in heinous cases, registered against them in different police stations of the district.
According to a statement, the absconders include Farooq Ahmad Bhaga s/of Dalgate, Dr Arifat Jan of Nigeen, Zameer Ahmad Shah of Nowgam, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat of Rainawari, Rashid Iqbal Malik of Check Narwa Banihal, Nazir Ahmad Shigun of Batamaloo, Mohammad Qasim Shah of Beerwah and Aijaz Ahmad Gujree of Baramulla.
The statement reads one of the absconders was involved in a case filed in 1990 and was absconding since 2013.
“All the absconders have been produced before the courts for further action under law,” it reads.
