Srinagar, Feb 20: The beautification of Dachigam National Park in Srinagar outskirts is on the card as district administration Srinagar has passed a slew of measures in this regard.
Official sources said that the district administration has asked the concerned agencies to speed up the works on the main entrance of the Dachigam National Park so that it is given a majestic view to attract more visitors.
District Administration Srinagar has also directed the face-lifting of the Fisheries department’s infrastructure including Fish ponds located inside the park.
Official sources added that all the unused water pipes from the premises of Dachigam Park will be shifted without any delay. The facelifting of the park is being done ahead of G20 meetings and events likely to be held in Srinagar city. [KNT]
