Sub-District Hospital Chadoora gets 24×7 electricity

Budgam, Mar 15: The 24×7 hotline for electricity at the local Sub-District Hospital (SDH) inaugurated by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chadoora has been highly appreciated by locals.
An official said that the facility was a long-pending demand of the people of Chadoora and has been done in keeping in view the interests of patient care.
“The hospital authorities will no longer have to bear the expenses of operating gen-sets, and the machinery will remain functional for a maximum amount of time, ensuring convenience for the general public,’’ he said.
The people of Chadoora have expressed their gratitude to the administration for taking this step, saying it will be beneficial for the general public throughout the winter.
“We hope it will provide a much-needed boost to the healthcare infrastructure in the area,” they said.
The SDM said the hotline will ensure an uninterrupted power supply to the Sub-District Hospital and will greatly help in the treatment of patients.
The Executive Engineer of Transmission also highlighted the benefits of the project and congratulated the Power Development Department (PDD) for successfully completing the electricity hotline. (KNO)
