Bandipora, Mar 17: Five more Medical officers were suspended and 15 paramedics have been asked to explain their position after they were found unauthorizedly absent from their legitimate duties in Bandipora medical block.
An official said that five Medical officers and 15 paramedics were found unauthorizedly absent following a surprise inspection at different health centres of Bandipora by the Block medical officer (BMO) Dr Masarat Iqbal Friday.
“A show-cause notice has been served to the employees asking them to explain their position before action shall be taken against them,” he said.
The official further said that strict action will be taken against the employees who will be found unauthorizedly absent from their legitimate duties.
On Thursday, almost the entire staff of the Primary Health centre (PHC) at Ashtingo was found absent from their duties and have been put on notice by the BMO. (KNO)
