Railways to run special train to clear extra holiday rush

Jammu, Apr 6: The Indian Railway has decided to run a special train between New Delhi to Katra to clear extra holiday rush.
The railways spokesman said that special train has been planned to clear the extra rush of passengers due to long weekend.
The special will be running as 04071/04072 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi katra- New Delhi (NDLS-SVDK-NDLS) Gati Shakti Special Express train on April 7.
The train depart from New Delhi Railway Station at 23:15 on on April 7 April and will return Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Railway station at 06:40 on date April 9.
Station Director Uchit Singhal said that special train will consist of 22 coaches and will have stoppage at Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Amabala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi and Udhampur.
It will be a one trip special which has been decided to be run to clear the extra rush of traffic. He further said that this is being done in light of the long weekend for the convenience of rail travellers and to clear extra rush of passengers.
