Kulgam, May 3: Flash flood triggered by a cloudburst created panic in some villages of Devsar in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.
An official said that a cloudburst occurred in the upper reaches of Lammar-Hallan area in Devsar today afternoon.
“Soon after the cloudburst, there was a sudden downflow of water, creating panic in the area,” he said.
Naib tehsildar Lammar, Hyder Hussain said that no loss of life or injury has been reported in the incident, while situation is under control. (KNO)
