Srinagar, May 5: BJP leader and DDC member for Khonmoh Er Aijaz Hussain along with ACD Rural Department and PRI members inaugurated Swachh Bharat Grameen from Panchayat Ghar Khonmoh.
This is in continuation with the efforts of Prime Minister’s Narendra Modi’s mission of Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat.
Er Aijaz said that from today the area will also have collection of garbage in all Panchayats of Khonmoh Block. This will create not only healthy atmosphere but will also bring lost glory of whole area.
The DDC member said that from now onwards, the garbage collection in the area will be streamlined and the area will enter into proper hygiene mode. He said locals of the area had been demanding the centre for long to ensure cleanliness of the area.
Meanwhile, in the recent meeting of DDC council, Er Aijaz backed proposal of making rural areas free from polythene was passed and will be implemented in spirit.
