Srinagar, May 9: Director, Tourism, Kashmir, Raja Yaqoob Tuesday held extensive consultations with members of various associations representing the hotel industry of Kashmir and sought their feedback on various issues.
The representatives of hoteliers apprised the Director Tourism about the obtaining tourism scenario in Kashmir Valley and sought continued support from the Department in maintaining the tempo of tourist footfall.
The Director Tourism assured the hoteliers that the Department would continue to support and encourage them so that the local tourism industry thrives and gets a big boost. He assured the delegation that all the genuine issues raised by them would be looked into on priority for redressal.
Earlier, the delegation brought many issues confronting them into the notice of the Director Tourism and sought their redressal.
