Srinagar, May 16: An elderly lady from Palhallan area was killed in a road accident on Tuesday near Children’s hospital here in Bemina.
Officials said that an unknown bike rider hit a pedestrian namely Raja Begam, wife of Muhammad Jamal Gojri of Palhallan (60), in front of Children’s hospital Bemina.
The biker, however, managed to flee from the spot, they said.
She was immediately taken to JVC hospital in Bemina by her sister for treatment where she was declared dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the accident. (KNO)
