Srinagar, Jun 20: At least two readymade garment shops were gutted in a late evening blaze at Fateh Kadal area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Tuesday, an official said.
An official said that two ready-made garments shops, situated in a house near Fateh Kadal Srinagar, were damaged.
“Soon, after the news broke, personnel from the F&ES, equipped with machinery from Baba Demb fire station, quickly reached the spot and extinguished the flames,” he said, adding that only two garments shops were affected, and the fire was successfully put under control.
