DC Rajouri engages with public during Block Diwas at Manjakote

Rajouri, Aug 2: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajouri, Vikas Kundal Wednesday conducted Block Diwas at Dak Banglow Manjakote where he actively engaged with the public and listened to their grievances. The visit saw the enthusiastic participation of large number of people. BDO Heena Kouser, SDPO Zafar Rather, SHO Abrar Khan, BDC chairperson Manjakote Shamshad Begum and District Officers of all departments were present on the occassion.
During the event, specific issues were raised regarding the inclusion of leftover beneficiaries under PMAY-G, shortage of staff in schools, payment under SBM, road connectivity improvement, speedy implementation of JJM schemes, completion of work on the road from Dhar to Kesar Gali and sanctioning of a trauma center. The issue of GDC Manjakote was also raised, and the DDC assured the public that he would take up the matter with the concerned authorities to ensure timely action.
Attentively listening to the grievances and aspirations put forth by the public representatives and community members, DC Rajouri directed the concerned departments to address the concerns of the public on priority. Offering a glimmer of hope, he assured them that extra efforts shall be made to fulfill all the raised demands. Notably, substantial progress has already been made in various development projects in Manjakote, indicating the administration’s sincere dedication to the welfare of the region.
This visit of DC Rajouri symbolizes the administration’s proactive approach in engaging with the public and recognizing their needs. Empowered by their collective aspirations, the district is set to witness positive transformation as both the demands of the people and ongoing development work find resonance in the actions of the local government.
