Srinagar, Aug 22: The residents of Khumani Chowk, Bemina here on Tuesday staged a protest against the dilapidated condition of the roads in their area.
The aggrieved protests blocked the road and raised slogans against the administration.
“We have been suffering a lot for a long time, and yet the administration has done nothing to resolve our issue, and today we are here to protest against the pathetic condition of the road,” said the residents while speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
“Our area has been neglected for a long time, we have contacted the authorities many times, but till now nothing has been done,” said the aggrieved residents.
They later appealed the higher-ups to look into the matter and macadamize their roads in the area.
